Synopsis
Art dealer’s wife Jessica Carrodus is abducted by vicious Daniel Sugarman and two accomplices for some unique diamonds – which she has swallowed. Her husband is given a duplicate cache to stall Sugarman but the drop is bungled. Luther’s colleague Ian Reed learns the identity of one of the accomplices,Tom,whom he rings and persuades him to help Jessica escape but Sugarman kills them both and takes the diamonds. In a final shoot-out Sugarman is shot dead by Reed,who admits to Luther he knew the robbery would take place but not that Jessica would die.
